W5H: The Who, What, When, Where, Why and How of Mattress Cleaning
The idea of cleaning your mattress is a new concept, but sounds like a fantastic idea. So as we head into 2015, what would getting your mattress cleaned look like?
Who?: Who cleans mattresses? Some companies with carpet cleaning machines do. Drying times for these cleanings are up to 8 hours! Some homeowners attempt to do it themselves with basic household chemicals. Then there’s Clean Sleep, a company dedicated to mattress sanitation. Mattresses are cleaned onsite in as little as 15 minutes. Best of all, it’s dried in our Clean Sleep Machine and ready to use immediately after servicing!
What?: What is the process of getting your mattress cleaned? The process is relatively quick and easy. Our technicians show up to your residence and take care of everything else! (http://vimeo.com/user27207888/cleansleepresidential)
When?: When are the best times to clean my mattress? We usually recommend 1-2 times a year to maintain your mattress by removing stains, odors and other contaminants. Spring-cleaning and fall allergy seasons are great times of the year to clean your mattress. Those extra-sensitive to allergens may see benefits of regular cleanings.
Where?: Where is Clean Sleep? Beds cleaned and sanitized with Clean Sleep Technology can be found in residences and commercial facilities throughout Dallas/Ft. Worth. Next time you’re at a hotel, lift the sheets and look for the certified cleaned sticker.
Why?: Why should I get my mattress cleaned? You take a shower daily. You wash your clothes and sheets once a week. Why not clean your mattress? While we sleep, body oils and dead skin shed themselves constantly and during the summer, or when we get a fever, we sweat. Over time, the build up in your mattress can be substantial. Sleeping on a regularly cleaned mattress will not only create a healthier environment, but help you sleep better as well.
How?: How does the mattress get cleaned? A quick internet search reveals an abundance of DIY advice on how to clean mattresses. Some appear satisfied with the results depending on how much time and patience they’ve put towards their personal cleaning effort. Many of these efforts involve use of other liquids that will absorb into your mattress (especially over-application) and if not extracted and dried properly could lead to mold or mildew within. Our process is quick, easy and safe. We use Ultraviolet light, Steam, Vacuums, Infrared Heat and Ozone. Your mattress is dry and ready to use when we’re done!
